Origin 8 SR1, Window XP SP2

Is there a way to have Origin 8 display the unit under EACH column instead of centering the unit over ALL Adjacent columns that has the same unit?

Hi SteveS2,

We set the "unit" row with horizontal merge ability by default.

Do you think it is a good default setting?

You can easily change this property in Worksheet Properties dialog:

1. Double click the gray area in the worksheet to open Worksheet Properties dialog.

2. Go to Format tab, select "Units" from the Apply to dropdown.

3. Then select "None" from the Merge dropdown, click OK.

This option looks not intuitive enough to find.

Do you have any suggestion to make it clearer? It would be greatly appreciated.

Moreover, this property is also stored in the default template origin.otw. You may customize it to fit your needs.
