Dear Sir.

I want to approsimate 3D-plot. My 3D-plot build on Matrix Window (30x30points). Can I build approsimation? (I don't know formula of 3D-plot, only points).

Dear Mike,

What do you mean by saying "approsimate"? Is that some kind of nonlinear least square fitting since you also mentioned "formula"? If so, OriginPro8 provides a brand-new feature called "nonlinear surface fitting" that can fit the matrix data. Before fitting it, you may want to roughly check the profile of your 3D-plot, e.g. is it a peak? if it is, you can choose Gauss2D function as your formula. (Note that here 2D means that there are two independent variables, which is the case for matrix data).
