Hello everybody,

I like to display the characteritic curves of a transistor in ONE two dimensional quadrant diagramm:
Example:
http://www.uni-stuttgart.de/ilr/dateien/eet2/vorl/EET2_Kapitel4_Bipolartransistor1.pdf
Picture 4/21, page 20, sorry in German but the diagram type is visible

The problem is for every of the four axis a have different scale and every axis has only positive values.

Is there a possibility to do this with origin.

Thanx
Martin

Hi Martin:

So this is the graph you mentioned:

You can plot a multiple layer graph. Firstly, plot four graphs, one for a quadrant. Then with a graph window active, select Edit : Merge All Graph Windows to merge the four graphs. In the dialog box, enter 2 for Number of Rows and Number of Columns, and then set the Horizontal Gap and Vertical Gap as 0.

Thanks
Larry
