hi
i´m trying to adjust XOffset and YOffset of the data-labels x/y/yErr-scatter-plot (2 plots with each 3 points) but it dont work:

click on <Apply>:
--positions of the labels do not change
--the number in the textboxes remains as typed
click on <OK>:
--positions of the labels do not change
open PlotDetails>Label-dialog again:
--numbers of XOffset and YOffset are "0"

remark: all other options (font, rotate, size, justify....) works good

thanks
mbst

Hi Deanna,

thanks for your prompt answer, and i´m also sorry, because i cannot reproduce this problem too.
i'd the same problem with several other plots...
BUT: after a restart of windows everything was ok...

might be a micro$oft-problem... ;-)

Thank you.

Hi mbst

Sorry that I cannot reproduce your problem on Origin 8 SR0. I tried to created two X/Y/YErr/Label plots and adjust the label offsets with the Plot Details dialog. But everything seemed to work fine. Would you please try to upgrade your Origin to SR1 by selecting Help: Check for Updates from the Origin menu?

If problem persists after upgrading, please send the graph or Origin project to us through this webpage: http://www.originlab.com/www/company/qform.aspx?s=1&

Thank you.
