Posted - 03/28/2008 : 11:25:32 AM I have some simple bar charts. Some of the labels in the X-axis are two or more lines; I used Ctrl+Enter to insert breaks in the lables.
When I export the charts sometimes these labels that are two or lines long are cut off. This does not happen with all my charts; I have some with 4 lines of label and they all come out.
I think I'm getting bogged down in the height of the page and the height of the layer. |

Posted - 03/28/2008 : 12:28:06 PM OK, this is as far as I got.
The problem appears if all the labels for the X-axis do not have the same number of lines.
In my chart, one of the labels was longer than the others, so I entered a Ctrl-Enter, to break the label so it appeared on two lines.
The second line was cropped in the export when Margin Control was Tight in Page.
After some fiddling around, I went to every label that was on only one line and added a Ctrl-Enter to them.
Now all labels are two lines and the chart exports properly.

If I Edit, Copy page and then paste it into a Word document, then the labels below the X-axis appear properly.
If I export with Margin Control set to Page, they appear properly.
But if I export with Margin Control set to Border, Tight, or Tight in Page, then the labels that 2 or more lines in the X-axis do not appear in the export file properly.
I've tried exporting as PNG and BMP; that doesn't seem to make any difference.
I beleive the problem is in the Margin Control. |
