I want to shade some portions of my graph in the background to show different conditions. How can I do that?

Thanks.

You will need to create datasets appropriate to your shading requirements, then add then to your graph layer.

You could add an area plot or draw an arbitrary shape with the Draw Data tool and use 'Fill Area Under Curve' and 'Inclusive broken by missing values to provide a shaded area. You will need to open the Layer dialog and move these datasets to the top of Layer Contents to draw them first.
