Origin System:7.5 and 7

Hello, I hope someone can help. This is a bit complicated, so I will try and explain clearly! :)

I am measuring the intensity of a LED, therefore I have X (wavelength) and Y (intensity) columns at a variety of currents

The first measurement is the background spectra.

Subsequently another 89 measurements are taken.

I would like to take the measurement of the initial Y column and minus it from the subsequent Y columns to remove the background.

I would then like to integrate between two specific wavelengths, e.g. 350nm to 450nm for each measurement i.e. each XY column.

I would like each integrated value to be put into a worksheet, i.e. I would like a column of values

I hope someone can help!!! Thanks in advance! ļ

Lisa

It took a bit longer than I anticipated but I've got a LT-based version of the utility that works on Origin 7 and 7.5. I am currently working on a more robust Origin-C based version which will eventually be posted on the Add-On modules site. In the mean time you can obtain a copy of the current version by sending an e-mail to lewisr@gpu.srv.ualberta.ca

I have a utility that is well suited for what you want to do. However, I have to clean it up a bit ....
If you can wait for a week or so ... I'll be glad to share it.
