Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 6.0 and 7.5
Operating System: Windows XP

A long time I had no problem with my installed Origin 6.0 version until about one month ago, it always crashed immediately after the start (the window closed before I could enter something).
Deinstallation and Reinstallation did not help.

After that I tried the 8.0 Demoversion: no Problem.

I purchased a new 7.5 student version from our university:

and again Origin 7.5 immediately (or rather some seconds after...) start up closes - I can not even enter the License information.

I've this problem only with origin, all other programs are working fine. I'm at the moment also not aware of any program that I might have installed before this problem occured.

Is there any known conflict with another program or maybe something in the registry that could lead to this problem, etc. ?

I would be grateful for any recommandations on this problem.

Martin

Thanks a lot!

That was the problem. In the case of 7.5 it helped, in the case of 6.0 I changed the default printer and everythin was fine.

You are probably experiencing a printer driver conflict and need to go here:

and follow the instructions.
