Hi. I'm wondering what you all would suggest is the best way to approach this problem. I have ~1,000 data files, on each file I would like to

1) import it
2) do a 2D frequency count/binning on it
3) make a plot from (2)
4) do a 2D gaussian fit to the plot
5) get out the fit parameters.

I'd like to do this on each data file. I'm not sure if the best method is a script, program, analysis template or what. I've started a program that does some of this, but ran into trouble when dealing with the histograms. Could someone please send me in the right direction ?
Thanks,
-Jeff

Hi, Jeff,

It should be worked out by script and a auto-updated OPJ.

You can create an OPJ which includes your desired auto-updated result. And then create a script to automatically import files to the OPJ. You can refer to autofit.ogs in our \Samples\LabTalk Script Examples
