I have tried to find where I can change the settings fo a default curve fit. For example... If I want to fit 10 different sets of data and if I want the fit curves to be calculated for 1000 points from two exact values (or to fit the same X-points that my data contains)... In that case I can either set these values for each fit or I can use the "Last Used" option for fitting. The first one is tiresome for the obvious reasons (repetitive and a waste of time) and the other one is not practical in the case that the fitting function has many parameters which have many local maxima so that you can't rely on automatic fitting (since that option does not open the fitting window but only fits the data).

So can you please tell me where/how I can change and save the default values?

I forgot to mention that I am working with Origin 8.

PS: Sorry about the double post but the forum wouldn't allow me to edit my previous post.
