I want to import a .txt file in Origin Pro70 which looks like that:
Time step = 8557; Elapsed time = 8.5610E-12 s; Load step = 1

its important for me that origin indentificate for example 2.39E-03 as a number and that there are the four diffrent columns No,Mome,Mass,VOF

Starting with Origin 7.5, the Import Wizard gives you much more control with file complexities like this, but ASCII Options in 7.0 may help:
Set "Skip main header, number of lines:" to 4
Check "Specify known subheader lines (0,1..) and set to 1
You will have to set all columns to Numeric after import to allow plotting since your text may trigger Categorical plotting. |
