Hi,
I have a quite simple problem I think, but did nor manage to solve it yet. I have a combination of positive and negative data and would like to present them in a 3D bar diagram. This works quite well, but all data are presented as positive bars in the diagram. But I would like to have the x and y axis in a way that they are linked to the z axis at z = 0, resulting in bars that go up or down, depended on their value.
Here is an example from excel:
Here are some data:
1,56 -7,73 -0,23
-1,72 1,40 -1,17
0,62 -0,86 4,52
Does someone have a solution for this?

I was able to do this in 2-D by putting in an extra data column of zeros and the making it a floating column plot. I believe this is what you want to do but I don't know if it works for 3-D as well. I would assume so? What I don't know now is how to attach error bars. I guess I could place the traditional 2-D column plot and then somehow hide the columns but not the error bars..I think the positioning would still be correct? |
