I would also like to say that a port of Origin to the Mac/PowerMac platform
would be greatly appreciated here. In civil engineering, at the University of
Calgary, we currently use a combination of Excel and KaleidaGraph for our
spreadsheet andgraphing needs. An alternative to this situation has been
sought out, but nothing found.
A product like Origin would definetly be of great use to us. However, most
students use the Macs for their computing needs making the purchase of Origin,
for the PC a less than enviable situation. If a Mac version of Origin is
released we will almost certainly buy it (if I can't pry open the purse strings
of our Profs. I'll buy it myself!).
