Is there any way to plot in Origin the Pearson correlation coefficient: Look in this email: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Correlation Look at the section on "The sample correlation" (the Pearson correlation coefficient). Origin is so good, I think there must be.

Posted - 02/19/2009 : 3:41:23 PM I am trying to do what you suggest, but this in confusing to me:
3. Select Plot: Statistics: Scatter Matrix from the main menu to open the plotmatrix X-Funciton.
I can select Plot: Statistics - then do I select Scatter Matrix. And what does "from the main menu to open the plotmatrix X-Funciton" mean?
Can you help me further. |

Posted - 02/16/2009 : 2:30:40 PM Hi Richard,
In version 8, the standard version offers a scatter matrix plot: http://originlab.com/index.aspx?s=8&lm=214&pid=1061 and in addition in the Pro version there is a correlation tool which also creates a scatter matrix plot of the results: http://originlab.com/index.aspx?s=8&lm=322&pid=1075
You can download the O8 demo (which is fully functional OriginPro) and try.
