Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):Origin Pro 8 SR0 v8.0724(B724)
Operating System:Windows Vista

Hello there, I have to compute several fluorescence specters and in order to keep things legible (and to respect my teachers' wishes) I've converted the workbook data in a matrix and plotted a 3D wired surface. The problem is with the scale. The Z axis represents Intensity and it's scaled correctly, but the X and Y axes (one of which, probably Y, representing the wavelength) are both scaled from 0 to 10 when it should be from about 300 to 900. The thing is that if I change the scaling, the matrix disapears. Perhaps it sounds stupid, but I really have no idea why and how things are this way. In a regular 3D XYZ plot it's scaled allright, but it must be a matrix and it seems it's not working out.
Thank you for your time,

Stability and life are incompatible.

Will do the patch part, but I think I'm simply doing something wrong when converting the worbook to a matrix. Is there something to keep in mind when doing such conversions, because I repeat, the scale is only shown correctly on the Z axis of the surface?

Stability and life are incompatible.

Since you are using Origin 8 without services release patch, I suggest you first upgrade to SR4 and then see if the problem persists.

Please read the following page for the information on SR4 patch:
