Hi,
I'm new to origin and would appreciate any help.
I would like to fit my data using a custom function 100 times, each time with a random parameter vector. Is this possible in Origin?

Have you already defined your function, and fit one set of data with it? You could reuse the workbook, with the three sheets: source data sheet, FitNL report sheet, FitNLCurve sheet. The analysis has been saved in the workbook and you can set the Recalculate mode to Auto.

Hi Jamieno,
Do you want to test the stability of your function using random parameter values, without the initialization parameters by default?
After SR4, Origin offer some X-functions to do nonliear curve fitting, such as nlbegin, nlfit and nlend. You can write a loop using LabTalk scripts, please see some examples in this page:
