I notice when you right click objects you have the option of "Push to the back" or "Bring to the front" but this isn't available with plot lines. I have a graph of two lines that rise together at about 45 degrees and then break off horizontally at different heights. I'd like to make it obvious that the early rise of the graph represents both lines, though only one line is seen. One way to do that would be to make one line dashed and one solid and put the dashed line on top so you could see the second line underneath the first line. But I don't seem to have any control over the order in which the lines are drawn and the solid line is always on top.
Thanks for any ideas. |

Posted - 07/28/2009 : 07:17:57 AM I have the nearly same problem like toonbon, but i have a set of measurements, where the order is important. Therefor i don't want to change the order of the lines in the legend, but the order of drawing in the graph. |

Posted - 04/01/2009 : 6:14:28 PM The order is determined by the order plotted or added to the layer. Double-click the layer icon in the upper left hand corner of the graph and the Plot Setup dialog will open. In the plot list, you can drag and drop to reorder. The solid line plot needs to appear first in the list.
