Operating System:

I am a new user of Origin8. I would like to know that is it possible to do “Multiple nonlinear regression analysis” in this software? I found “multiple linear regression” option in the Analysis tree.

I got analytical data as follows,
X1= independent variable
X2= independent variable
X3= independent variable
Y= dependent variable

For constant eg. X3=0.05 I have one table of X1, X2, Y as bellow,

X1 |X2 |Y
0.05 |0.2 |17.77
0.05 |0.2 |15.33
0.05 |0.2 |19.45
… |… |…
… |… |…
0.06 |0.4 |15.3
0.06 |0.4 |14.78
0.06 |0.4 |16.61
… |… |…

And for each X3=0.05,0.1,0.15,0.2 I have table of X1, X2, Y like above..
Hence my question is how to make final table format which will be necessary for multiple nonlinear regression analysis.

I also want to develop an equation for example like:

Y=a/((X1*X2^b-c)^d*(1+X3)^e)+f/(1+X3)

I wish to have my final equation will not exactly like above one but closer to that.

If anybody tackled this type of problem before then please help me.

Waiting for the reply.

Yours Sincerely,
Kulkarni
