Hi All. I'm using OriginPro 8 on Windows Vista.

I am making line plots and want thick dashed lines. However, when I change the line size to anything over 1 along with a dashed line format, the thickness of the dashes makes it look like a continuous line. How do I fix this? Thanks,

Hi Greg

The second option wont work for me - and I dont understand the reason for this option (what are origin dashes?). The problem with Print View is that all plots are initially assigned in page view, so to view the dashes I have to change to print view every time.

Either of these should do it:

(1) Choose View : Print View from the menu

(2) Choose Tools : Options to open the Options dialog,
then on the [Graph] tab check 'Use Origin Dashes in Page View'
