Origin 7 SR2 v. 7.0383

How do I retrieve residuals (in worksheet form)from a nonlinear curve fit?

I tried "edit worksheetname_reside" but keep getting an error. I'm not clear what residuals this command would be retrieving either. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Levi

Hi Levi:

In the NLSF tool of Origin 7, you can plot the residuals after the fitting iteration.

After done, right-click the residual curve and select "Create Worksheet xxxxxx" to generate the residual data.

We have improved this tool in 80, and you can always output residuals from the new curve fitting tool. Maybe you can download and have a try?

Thanks
Larry
