I am generating 3D surface plots using an XYZ gridding matrix and I would like to create a cut-away zone that has a different color to show the surface region that was sliced away. Just wondering if this is feasible and if so what is the procedure for accomplishing this?

Posted - 07/27/2009 : 10:10:10 PM With the help of color map, it's OK to cut parallel to the XY plane. Now we cannot cut the surface in arbitrary angle.
