I am generating 3D surface plots using an XYZ gridding matrix and I would like to create a cut-away zone that has a different color to show the surface region that was sliced away. Just wondering if this is feasible and if so what is the procedure for accomplishing this?

With the help of color map, it's OK to cut parallel to the XY plane. Now we cannot cut the surface in arbitrary angle.

Thanks
