Hey everyone!
I am working with a 3D image I derived from a matrix. I would like to lift my diagramme so that the projection at the bottom is visible properly. I do this by scaling the Z-axis down (e.g. to -6000). Now I would like Origin to remove the axis label, but only from 0 to -6000. Of course, I could create a white box to overlay the axis labels, but I'd rather not do this.
Thanks for any help!

Posted - 09/16/2009 : 06:26:53 AM You can define a column in a worksheet which will be used for Z axis labels. And clear the cells of -6000 to 0 in the column and leave them blank. Then act as follows. 1. Double-click on Z Axis labels to open Z Axis Dialog. 2. Select Tick Labels tab. 3. From Type List, Select Tick-indexed dataset. 4. From Dataset List, Select your defined column. You can refer to the webpage for more information: http://www.originlab.com/www/helponline/Origin8/en/graphing/customizing_tick_labels.htm
