 Hide axis label, but only partly!

Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): Origin 8G SR4
Operating System: Win XP

Hey everyone!

I am working with a 3D image I derived from a matrix. I would like to lift my diagramme so that the projection at the bottom is visible properly. I do this by scaling the Z-axis down (e.g. to -6000).
Now I would like Origin to remove the axis label, but only from 0 to -6000.
Of course, I could create a white box to overlay the axis labels, but I'd rather not do this.

Thanks for any help!

You can define a column in a worksheet which will be used for Z axis labels. And clear the cells of -6000 to 0 in the column and leave them blank. Then act as follows.
1. Double-click on Z Axis labels to open Z Axis Dialog.
2. Select Tick Labels tab.
3. From Type List, Select Tick-indexed dataset.
4. From Dataset List, Select your defined column.
