Hi folks,
when I try to scale the y-axis of a graph I got a problem when I want the first tick starting with an odd number. Even if I say the scale is supposed to start with e.g. 50 and end with e.g. 130 with an increment of 20, the first tick is set at 60 instead of 50. How can I change that? |

Posted - 10/05/2009 : 1:33:03 PM Thanks guys, I got it.
I made a mistake as it is a negative scale it does not start with -50 but it starts with -130. That means, the first tick is not at -50 but at -130. Then setting the First tick to -130 works.
Thanks a lot! |

Posted - 10/03/2009 : 10:02:03 AM I tried with SR6 From -50 To -130 Inc -30 First Tick -50
and resulting ticks -50, -70, -90, -110, -130
There were some bug fixing in this area in one of the SR for Origin 8, so maybe you should get the new version of SR6.

Posted - 10/02/2009 : 7:17:23 PM Year I tried that already but nothing changes. Actually, the scale is supposed to go from -50 to -130 but I guess it doesn't matter. I can put everything between -50 and -60 in there but nothing changes. But if I put -61, the first tick will be at -61 instead of -60. Does that help you somehow? |

Hi,
In the Axis dialog, on the Scale tab where you set the from and to, etc, you can also specify First Tick, there is an edit box for that on the right side at the bottom, set that to 50.
