Hi,

I would like to know if there is a way to produce symbols like a "gamma over dot" (or any other sign with a point above) in graphs, e.g. as axis title. In this special case I would like to avoid dgamma/dt [d\g(g)/d].

Is there a way?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

If you open Origin help (menu: Help->Origin) and search for the phrase:
Escape Sequences
You will find topic by that name that lists all escape sequences.

I had a similar question a while ago and the answer was

"We have built-in support for above bars and dots using escapes sequences. If you open Text Object Properties dialog and type this:
Bar above \ab(text).
Dot above \ad(text).
You should be able to see bar and dot above "text" words."
