hi there,
i've got a problem using the "add plot" button. i want to plot 2 scatter diagrams into one graph from data out of an excel-file which i opened in origin. let's say the first scatter diagramm should be:
x values: Column A, row 1-20
y values: column B, row 1-20
the second scatter diagramm should then be:
x values: Column A, row 21-40
y values: Column B, row 21-40
the problem is, that origin doesn't plot the second scatter diagramm into the same graph by using the "add plot" button. when i plot it into another graph it works! the problem isn't also there, when i want to plot data which is in different columns in my excel file. when i want to plot 2 scatter diagrams from the same columns into one graph it just doesn't work.
can anybody help?

Make sure you update to Origin 8 SR4 or later. Plotting same column into same graph was not supported before that.
