Posted - 11/25/2009 : 04:23:53 AM Hi,
I am using oringin 8 SR3 on Windows 7 Enterprise.
I am having problems about the "Data: Move data points" feature. It is convenient to directly move the data points on the graph using up or down arrow keys, so the data point moves vertically but stay the same horizontally. However, the movement per key strike is too large for me. It is possible to increase the movement per key strike by pressing "shift", but I find no way to decrease the movement and perform a finer tuning of the data position.
I know I can use the mouse to place the data whereever I want, but that usually changes the X axis position (its very difficult to avoid change the X position using mouse). It is also possible to just change the data value from the worksheet, but it is just inconvenient to work with the numbers.
Micorsoft Powerpoint has this same problem when moving a pasted figure with arrow keys. The solution microsoft offered is by simultaneously pressing the Ctrl key, so that the figure will move a smaller step corresponding to each strike.
Is there any way to move the datapoints in smaller steps without changing the X axis or re-typing the actual position in the worksheet? |
