Hello, everybody!!!

This is my very first post here, and I hope you can help me!!

I need to fit just a range of my data using one equation, and the other range using other equation... Is it possible to do using Origin? How can I do it?

Thank you very much.

For Orign 7 you can specify the fitting range as follows.
Advanced Fitting Tool, Select: Action: Dataset, you can specify row range to fit.
or Fitting Wizard, Select the first page, Select Data, you can specify row range or Select Range Graphically.
Our current version is 8.1. It offers a lot of powerful features. I hope that you can consider upgrading to Origin 8.1. You can also download the Origin 8.1 demo from the following webpage and have a try first.

Thank you very much for the information, but I forgot to tell that I am using Origin 7.0. Is it possible to do it with this version?

You can select "Select from Worksheet" to specify the range to fit in the "Input Data" tree of "Data Selection" page from "NLFit" dialog's "Settings" tab. You also can select "Rows" checkbox in the "Input Data" tree and specify the range by "From" and "To".
So you have to fitting twice for two ranges and two equations.
