Is there step function in origin 8.0?
I want fit my curve with multi-segment function.

Hi,
You can try to create a user-define fitting function
http://wiki.originlab.com/~originla/howto/index.php?title=Tutorial:Fitting_with_Piecewise_Functions
But that depends on your data, in some case, the least squares fitting is not able to find an approximation for a step due to the discontinuity.
