Hello, I would like to plot histograms with respect to multi-y axes, which means three or more y axes.
I can plot the histograms with double y-axes, but have no idea how to do it with three y-axes. I downloaded a sample on the web, which is a triple-y plotting--scatter plots-- using three layers, however, I realized that the method cannot be used for histogram plots, because the histograms should be grouped. What I want to do is to plot histograms on each layer separately. Is it possible? Can the histograms be plotted using each of the three layers?

Hi,
There are two Y axes in one layer, the left one and the right one. So, you can not get three Y axes within only one layer. Three histograms are plotted using three layers. This will get three Y axes. However, three Y axes have identical X axes. These three histograms will be overlapped. We need to use some work-around.
Work-around one:
Three Y axes are plotted in one layer as grouped plots. And then add two more layers for other two Y axes. The added two Y axes have to be changed for the proper scale manually.
Work-around two:
Copy your raw data (XYYY) and paste to another two worksheets. Then change the data in these worksheets with two zero Y columns. Structures of these worksheet like:
The first worksheet:
X Y Y Y
x y 0 0
The second worksheet:
X Y Y Y
x 0 y 0
The third worksheet:
X Y Y Y
x 0 0 y
Then plot these three worksheets to three layers. In this way, each layer will contain a grouped plot, and the scale of Y axis will automatically rescale according to the data.
