Hi
I want to perform One-Way ANOVA test with multiple comparaison.
I particularly want to compare data of many columns to a particular column that contains a standard data (Exple: IC50 of plant extracts versus IC50 of Quercetin).
How can I do this?

Can I suggest that Origin developers include Dunnett test in One-Way ANOVA?

Well, every group in your data have 3 values, including the standard group. I think the best method is Dunnett test. Sorry about that.

Here is my problem.
I performed a experience with plant extracts with the aim to determine their antioxidant activity. I have 16 extracts of plant, let us say Extract1....Extract16. For each extract, the EC50 was determined in triplicate. I also performed the same experience with standards used as reference. Standards used are Quercetin, Rutin and Ascorbic acid. Now, I want to compare the antioxidant activity of my extracts to one of the standards.
I think I have to perform a One way ANOVA with a post test (the Dunnett post test). Since my measures are not repeated measures (I think well), I cannot. Is there another solution?

Hi Tibiri,
If your reference column is also a group of observations (not a single value), "Dunnett" is the usual method in multiple comparison to compare to a reference category, which is only available in Origin's Repeated Measures ANOVA, not in ordinary ANOVA yet.

Hi:
ANOVA is comparing the mean of multiple DATASETs, while t-test can be used to compare the mean of ONE DATASET with A VALUE. Origin provide both of these functions under Statistics menu. When opening these dialogs, you can press F1 to open the help pages.
Could you give more detail requirement? I am not quite sure what do you exactly want, maybe you can contact us with your data through our support email.
