Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 8.1
Operating System: XP

Hi all,
How can I fix the scaling a 2D plot? So that 1 unit on the x axis
has the same length as 1 unit on the y axis. I don`t want origin to
scale my axis according to the plotted data.
thanks
p

You can do that by creating a theme that save your axis scale only.

Start from an empty graph page, and set the proper x/y scale as you need. Then right-click the graph, and select Save Format as Theme .... In the save theme dialog, uncheck All and check Scale. Then give the theme a proper name and save it.

After you creating new graphs, you can press F7 to open the Theme Organizer dialog. Select the theme you just save and click Apply Now.

If you set this theme as a System Default theme, every plot you create will use this same axis scale. Please look for Theme and Template on our help document for more information.

Thanks
Larry
