Hi, I'm new at Origin and I have pretty much no clue what's going on. I want to do a nonlinear fit for some data. I can pull up the graph so far. I have an equation with two variables, one independent, one dependent, and two fitting parameters. so im using the User-Defined Fitting Functions. i can enter most of the stuff without too umch difficulty, but once i write out my equation in the code builder, and press compile, an error occurs
#pragma warning(error : 15618)
#include <origin.h>

Could someone point me in the right direction? I'm having a hard time just understanding the terms used in the help section. I am pretty clueless with programming and I don't have a strong background in calculus...
thanks

Hi:

Maybe these tutorials can help? You can first read the User Defined Fitting Function using Origin C example. I can't comment on your question because I can't reproduce it without your code.

Thanks
Larry
