Hello, I want to make this graph at origin but I have a problem.
I don't know how to put the red line (under the blue one) which is the regression.
Can anyone help me?

As far as I know, there is no general acceptable equation, especially for different kind of materials.

A convenient way is just smoothing the origin curve rather than fitting it. However, it needs experiences to determine the smoothing parameters and the related index, such as Fm and Fs, from smoothed curve.

Hi,

If you know the equation, you can create a user-defined fitting function in Origin to fit your data. So you need to research/look up what equation to use for your data/field first.

You are right. It is a graph for the force and the energy absorbed at an impact test. I tested the Gaussian and Loretzian Fit (from the menu analysis) , it is close to what I want but I don't think is totally correct.

Seems like an instrumented impact test curve, right?
You may need the curve fitting model for the regression.
