Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5
Operating System: Win XP

Hello everybody,

IŽve a little problem with Origi and I hope youŽll help me.

I have data from a experiment, wich I want to plot in a diagram with normal axis. This is no problem, so far.
But I need both axis in the same scaling. This means I want that 1 Unit on the x-axis ist identical to 1 Unit on the y-axis. When I choose the Axis-Scaling and give identical values for From and To at both axis, my x-axis is much longer than my y-axis.

The only way I found to get my diagram is to set the axis manually by try and error. But this is not the comfort way...

So please if you have any idea to solve this problem give me a note.

Thanks
Thomas

You need to set the size of the layer so that the lengths of both axes are identical.
To this open the Layer properties dialog (Format -> Layer) from the graph menu. Click on the Size/Speed Tab ... Set the Unit to an absolute scale (i.e. inch, cm or mm) and set the Layer Height and Width to the values that you want.
