Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 8.1SR2
Operating System: WinXP

I recently upgraded 8.0 Standard to 8.1 Pro

I have a project into which I read a data file which is updated periodically.

Now, since upgrading, when I try to read in the ascii file, a window pops up and says "Output not writable" instead of reading in the data.

I've tried every possible combination of import options, head and sub-header lines, etc.

Is this something that broke in 8.1 ???

Hi,

Please send your OPJ and your data file to tech support so we can look into this further.

Also please send any relevant information, such as how do you read the data file...do you import again using dialog, or you are using the Re-import menu item.

Thanks,

Easwar
