If find the maximum value on the current active matrix sheet, type

max(MatrixWindowName) =

in script window. If find the minimum value on specified matrix sheet, you'd better use range variables. Such as:

range rm = [mbook1]msheet1!1;
ty "The minimun value of the matrix is $(min(rm))";
