Regarding my last comment to D'Unger about the multiple fit problem: Apparently
Origin just fits to one of the curves. For the second curve Origin simply
assigns a straight line equal to the last data point of that curve. I might
still do something wrong in the definition of my equations but any further
comments will be appreciated.

Simultaneous fitting of several functions

As far as I understand there is a bug in releases prior to version 5 where the
simultaneous fitting is not working as described. (From the bug fix list of
version 5 it looks as the problem is fixed in this release, but I have not
updated yet so I have not tested it).

If you press the "search button" on the top (not in your browser but in this
forum) and make a search on

Fitting multiple datasets to different functions using shared parameters

you will find my response posted for long time ago on how to make a workaround
for version 4.1 (It is probably also working in ver. 4.0).
