I am searching for an opportunity to fit a Gaussian distribution function on experimental data but I can't find such a function in Origins non-linear-fitting menu. Can anybody help?

You can integrate the density function. Here is an example to do integration in curve fitting, and the integrand is Gaussian density function.
  Thanks Larry |

you find it under Analysis -> Fitting -> Fit Single / Multi peak There you find many different peak shapes and their properties.
