Origin Ver. 8.0 and Service Release :SR6
Operating System: XP

I'm reducing XY data with XF-reduce This syntax worked yesterday but now I get an External Call Execution Error.

reduce inrg:=col(1) num:=100 method:=ave orng:=col(3);

It locks up the command window and if I hit enter it boots me out of Origin. If I type any other keys it tells me there is an external variable missing.

Any ideas?

I don't think it's the command window since I tried to do other basic functions like colcopy.
