I'm using origin for a while now and I'm really a fan of it. Currently, I use
version 5.0
(not pro) and try to obtain the creation time/date of a datafile that I import
into a worksheet.
I couldn't find a function/object within Origin so I tried to run an Excel
macro using the VB filedatetime function. And then, by using the excel object,
I tried to run the function (via excel.run) of the macro (via excel.runrange)
but
both didn't work. And the manual doesn't give any examples. What did i do
wrong?

many thanks paul van der Wel
