I got another question: is there a "easy way" to generate the center of gravity from values with Origin: I searched the web and origin help but not really find something. I generated the area, but now I need do generate the center of gravity: Here for example a few values

Posted - 07/08/2010 : 10:36:16 AM sure, I try: I have measured an ultrasonic wave, imported the data into origin integrated the absolute area and now want to find the center of gravity/ center of area. I think I need to calculate the Statical moment of area http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_moment_of_area
