I got another question:
is there a "easy way" to generate the center of gravity from values with Origin:
I searched the web and origin help but not really find something.
I generated the area, but now I need do generate the center of gravity:

Currently, Origin does not have a feature to get what you want directly. But you may program with Origin C to realize it yourself. For more details about Origin C, please refer to

sure, I try:
I have measured an ultrasonic wave, imported the data into origin integrated the absolute area and now want to find the center of gravity/ center of area. I think I need to calculate the Statical moment of area http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_moment_of_area

Could you tell us what the definition of the gravity you mentioned is and give us more details about the problem?
