Origin Ver. 8 and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): SR4
Operating System: XP SP2 32b
Hi,
Our lab at the University is moving away from GraphPad Prism (due mainly to cost) and supporting Origin. Several people in the group have used GraphPad in the past and have a lot of data saved in GraphPad.
Does any of you know a way of either importing GraphPad files in Origin or converting GraphPad files in a format that can be imported into Origin.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Rv

Hi Rv,

Welcome to Origin! We will look to see if their file format is published. For now I see on each data table one can select File->Export and then export as TXT, CSV etc. Then perhaps one could write script in Prism to export all tables to files and import them into Origin using script on the Origin side. I see in their script examples a sample script template for Repeatedly Import Data, which could perhaps be modified to export all data...
