Dear Origin users,

how to sum up several colums into a new one? I have to sum 150 columns and dont want to write in the "set column value" Col(C1)+Col(C2)+Col(C3)+....+Col(C150).

Cheers,
alvogel

Dear alvogel,

To sum 150 continous columns using Set Column Values, you can use some scripts in the Before Fomula Scripts to define the dataset.

For example, to sum 9 continous columns from Col(A) to Col(I) in Book2, Sheet1, you can set the Set Column Values dialog as picture below:

Moreover, using Statistics on Row by selecting Statistics: Descriptive Statistics menu is also a convenient way to sum columns.
You can select just Sum in Qautities to Compute and specify <next to source> for Output Column.
