Hi @ll!

I'm working with origin Pro 8G.
Currently I'm trying to create a 2D scatterplot that consists of two different groups of data. For both groups I have obtained seperate X and Y values.
In other cases it was possible to assign two different y-values as "groups" to one x-value. However, this is impossible in this case since different test subjects were measured and I have different x- and y- values for both groups.

For example:

X-Var Y-Var Group-Var
1 2 1
3 4 1
5 5 1
2 1 2
4 2 2
6 3 2

I tried several methods, none was successful. I hope you can help me.

Thank you for your help!

Greetings
Joe

Hi;

Grouping haven't supported in current Origin version. However, you can customize the plot column using the "group data", column 3, in your case. See this page for more detail.

Thanks
Larry
