Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP

I am currently using Origin 7. Is there any way to lock/freeze columns like in excel? I need the x axis to be visible when i scroll across.

My second problem concerns data organization - when i make line graphs I calculate the area, peak, height, width and integral of the curve. I currently do this using the baseline tool. The data for the area, peak, height and width appears in the dialogue box which I then paste into an excel sheet but the data for the integral appears in a separate sheet called BsPeak so I waste a lot of time opening this sheet and scrolling across to get get the data. Is there any way I can program origin in order to get all this information in the dialogue box, or even better, automatically into the same spread sheet?

Thanks!!

Q1:
I am afraid it is not supported.

Q2:
You can user LabTalk to write some Script. Please read our programming help.

However, it will be easier to do that in Origin 8.1. We introduced X-Function since Origin 8. Using X-Functions, you can easily specify the input data and output destination result sheet, etc.

Thanks
Larry
