Posted - 10/08/2010 : 4:57:43 PM Hello there!
I`m using OriginPro 8 on Windows Vista and I`m still a beginner to Origin.
My problem is, that i have 19 sets of force/strain data and i have to get these into one plot, so that i can directly compare the 19 graphs. The data sets were created by the software of a friction press and the strain values for which the force values were measured differ from data set to data set. Up to now i got all data sets into one worksheet (so i have the data in 38 columns now). Maybe there is a possiblity to normalize the force values to one set of strain data somehow?
I have a short excerpt of the data i got, so that you know what I`m talking about (Dehnung=Strain; Standardkraft=Force):

I would be very happy, if someone knows how to solve the problem!
Thank you very much!

Thanks a lot!

Posted - 10/08/2010 : 11:10:31 PM Do you mean you want the 19 plots share the same X values and then you could compare the data points with the same X value from different plots? If yes, you could first use the Interpolate tool in Origin to interpolate the 19 pairs of datasets, and then use the interpolated datasets to create a graph with 19 plots.
For more details about the tool, please refer to
