 Bug in using masked data?

Origin Ver.8.5 and Service Release SR0 (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System:WinXP

Dear all,

I'm new in using Origin, I hope that I didn't miss something. When I choose data to mask, the buttons show/hide - and invert masked data are not active. Is it a bug? I tried it in different projects.

This is normal.

With no masked data, only "Disable/Enable masking" is enabled for a Workbook and "Disable/Enable masking" and "Swap Mask" are enabled for a graph.

Once you make a selection (in either a Worksheet or a graph use Data or Range Selection) then the "Mask range" tool is available.

Once you have masked data then the other tools become available.
