Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 8.0.63.988 SR6
Operating System: Win7 32 bit

Hello,

I'm looking for a possibility to change the column that contains my X- or Y-dataset in a graph. For example, if I have a graph that plots columns A and C as X- and Y-data, respectively, I want to be able to change it so that column B now contains my Y-axis data points. In older version of Origin, this used to be possible under "Layer contents" if I remember correctly. Has this option disappeared for the newer Origin versions, or is it just extremely well hidden?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Roel

When you double-click on the layer icon in your graph the Plot Setup dialog will open. It will show you what data you have plotted.

Click the up arrow button, in the top right of the dialog. Now in the middle panel that opens, uncheck the Y checkbox for C and check the Y designation box for B. Click the Replace button and then click OK.
