You are correct. I am in this situation.
However, I see the tutorial movie but it not match with my Origin program which i have. Remember that I using OriginPro 8 SR0.

I would like to send to you the source file (http://ifile.it/7buy9pa) which I would like to fit it by Gaussian function. Let me know how to do it.

Thank you very much.

Do you mean you want to find two peaks from the raw data and fit them with the Gaussian function? If yes, you could use the Fit Peak feature of the Peak Analyzer tool to get what you want. The following is an video tutorial to show you how to use the tool

http://www.originlab.com/index.aspx?go=Products/Origin/DataAnalysis/PeakAnalysis/PF&pid=1547

And the following is a tutorial with details steps

http://www.originlab.com/www/helponline/Origin/en/mergedProjects/Tutorial/Tutorial/Peak_Fitting_with_Baseline.html

Please see whether this is what you want.
