What should i do in order to edit the nonlinear formula that contained in the Originlab library. For example, I want to edit Hill formula to langmuir formula. Both of this formula have the similarities in numerator side but different in denominator side. Thank you for your attention

The circular is an implicit function? If so, we haven't support this feature in current version.
Thanks Larry OriginLab |

I think better to create a new user-defined fitting function. This tutorial may help.

Posted - 01/02/2011 : 03:48:52 AM Hi shirley, first of all, thanks for replying my message. But I meet the new prob. Every time I try to fit this equation I get a message stating my fitting function is not completed. The function that I already edit is:
y=Vmax*x*k/(1+x*k)
The parameters I have a values are x,y and Vmax. The value of k need to be determined from the curve fit.
Thank you again.

To edit a built-in function, you can duplicate it and then edit it in the Fitting Function Organizer.
Besides, you can quote a built-in function to define a user-defined function.
